Questions about approvals and ChatGPT ads
These are the questions owners ask before they book: how ads get approved, which restricted verticals we serve, how ChatGPT ads work, what the retainer covers, and what Grey Manager does not do. Where an answer carries a limit, the limit is in the answer.

How are these questions organised?
By what you are actually worried about, in five groups. Most owners read two groups and book a call.
| Group | What it covers | Who tends to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Getting approved | rejections, approval, speed, watching the work | an owner whose ads keep failing review |
| Restricted verticals | which businesses we take and on what terms | an owner told no by an agency |
| ChatGPT ads | what they are, eligibility, spend, the country list | an advertiser outside the listed countries |
| Pricing and accounts | the fees, the ad spend, who owns the accounts | an owner comparing quotes |
| What we do not do | the refusals and the limits, stated plainly | an owner doing due diligence |
Where should I start if my ads keep getting rejected?
The getting approved group. The short version is that the claim, the image or the landing page broke a written rule, and the fix is to build the next ad from that rule instead of appealing the last one.
Every ad we submit is designed from the platform’s own published policy first, and you pick the one that runs from the mock-ups. The vertical pages say what that means for a specific business: supplement brands, CBD sellers and cosmetic clinics all fail on wording, and each page shows the wording that is approved.
What if my whole industry is the problem?
Read the restricted verticals group, then the page for your vertical. Almost every category we serve is restricted rather than banned, and the plan names the platforms and countries where approval is possible.
Casinos and sportsbooks are taken licensed or not, which is set out on gambling ads for casinos and sportsbooks. Crypto turns on certification, on compliant crypto advertising. Adult platforms and dating apps turn on placement, on restricted advertising for adult platforms and dating app advertising.
What if my country is not on OpenAI’s list?
Read the ChatGPT ads group. Eligibility follows the advertiser’s legal entity and the country is fixed when the account is created, so an unlisted country cannot simply register and start.
The live list, with the date it was read, is on the ChatGPT ads availability tracker, and the service that forms an eligible company and runs the ads is ChatGPT ads for international advertisers.
What do the answers say about money?
That the retainer buys the work and never the spend. The pricing and accounts group repeats it in four different ways because it is the thing most often glossed over elsewhere.
The three retainer prices, the 2.5% service charge and the sentence about ad account fees are all on pricing, what happens between the booking call and the first live ad is on how it works, and what the automation does after launch is on ads automation.
What does Grey Manager refuse to do?
Four things: build or sell software, pay your ad spend, promise that an account will never be restricted, and publish a client name.
Those four are in the what we do not do group and on about Grey Manager, and none of them changes at a higher price. If that is the company you want, book a call and the plan follows before anything is signed.

Getting approved
Can I watch the work in my own ad account?
Yes. Share the account you already own and we run the automation inside it, so every change is visible to you as it happens. Owners who would rather stay out of sight have the accounts created and run for them instead.
How fast are the ads live?
Within 14 days of the booking date, with the call, the plan, the accounts, the mock-ups and your approvals all inside that fortnight. The one thing outside our hands is a platform review queue, which nobody can expedite.
Is approval guaranteed?
No agency can guarantee a platform’s decision, and we do not. What we hold ourselves to is 99% of ads approved across ordinary and sensitive businesses alike, with the ads live within 14 days of the booking date.
Why do my ads keep getting rejected?
Almost always the claim, the image or the landing page breaks a written policy rule, not the product itself. Grey Manager builds each ad from the platform’s own published policy, so the rejection is prevented before submission rather than appealed afterwards.
Restricted verticals
Can a restricted business be advertised at all?
Yes, on the platforms and in the countries that allow it, which the plan names before you sign. Supplements, adult platforms, casinos, crypto, brokers, CBD, vape shops, dating apps, clinics and offshore companies are all served.
Do you take unlicensed casinos and sportsbooks?
Yes, licensed or not. A licence opens the platforms that ask for one; without it the campaign is routed to the placements where approval is possible and leans harder on search and AI answers.
Do you work with adult platforms?
Yes. Grey Manager runs the restricted advertising system for adult platforms and creator sites, discreetly, on the placements and in the countries that accept the category. Your business is never named on this website.
Is crypto advertising allowed on Meta and Google?
Within each platform’s own rules, yes, and the certification has to be in place before the ad runs. What is never allowed is pushing a non compliant advertiser past review, so we never rent, lend or buy an ad account.
ChatGPT ads
Can I run ChatGPT ads from a country OpenAI does not list?
Yes, through an eligible company. OpenAI ties eligibility to the advertiser’s legal entity and fixes the country at account creation, so Grey Manager forms an eligible company for the business and runs the ads through it.
Is there a minimum spend for ChatGPT ads?
OpenAI states none for self-service, bills by impression or valid click, and recommends starting at a maximum bid of $3 to $5 per click. Source: OpenAI Help Center, Ads in ChatGPT, the basics, read 2026-09-21.
What are ChatGPT ads?
Paid placements shown to ChatGPT users on the Free and Go plans, bought through OpenAI’s Ads Manager with a maximum cost per click bid. Source: OpenAI Help Center, Ads in ChatGPT, the basics, read 2026-09-21.
Will my country be added to the ChatGPT ads list?
Nobody outside OpenAI knows, and anyone giving you a date is guessing. The list grew from nine countries to 56 in about three weeks and then stopped for the large Asian markets; our tracker page carries the current list and the date it was read.

Pricing and accounts
What does it cost per month?
SEO and GEO automation is $550 per month per website. Ads automation is $550 per month plus your ad spend and a 2.5% service charge on spend. ChatGPT ads are $750 per month on the same terms.
What if one of my ad accounts is restricted?
We never promise it will not happen. Multiple ad accounts run on a single campaign, so one restriction never stops the campaign, and we run the appeal with the fix stated while the other accounts keep serving.
What is not in the retainer?
Your ad spend and your ad account fees. Both are paid by you, on top of the retainer and the 2.5% service charge on spend, and there is no tier at which we pay them for you.
Who owns the ad accounts?
You do, whether you shared an account you already had or we created new ones for you. The accounts, the billing and the campaign history stay yours, and they stay yours if you stop the retainer.
What we do not do
Do you build custom software or AI agents?
No. We run your ads and your search on automation the company built and owns, and we do not build or sell software to anyone. If that is what you need, we are the wrong shop and we will say so on the call.
Do you promise my account will never be banned?
No, and no honest agency does. We build every ad to the platform’s policy before submission and run multiple ad accounts on a single campaign, so a restriction on one account never stops the campaign.
Do you pay the ad spend for me?
No. Ad spend and ad account fees are always yours and go to the platform, never through us. Our charge is the retainer plus a 2.5% service charge on spend, and that is the whole of it.
Do you publish client names or results?
No. Nothing about a client appears on this website, and there are no customer counts, logos, testimonials or star ratings anywhere on it. Results are reported to the client alone.
What we do not do
- We do not promise that an ad account will never be restricted, and no answer on this page says otherwise.
- The retainer covers the work, never your ad spend or your ad account fees.
- We do not publish client names, logos, testimonials or star ratings anywhere on this website.
